Poop Count for 5 week old

How often does your breastfed baby poop?? My DS is almost 6 weeks and up untill 3 days ago he was a very healthy pooper. I'd have to change him several times a day because of a full blown diaper. But now he's started going maybe 3 times a day all of a sudden with a few stained ones. I know that the number of times they go starts to decrease as they get older but this happened overnight. Since then he's been getting a little more fussier so I give him gas drops to try and help his belly, but I'm just wondering if this is normal.  TIA

    DD went from a few times a day to not going for a week out of nowhere.  That was right before she turned 2 months.  Yes, she had lots and lots of gas, but she's ok with the gas now and it doesnt wake her up if she hasn't gone for days anymore.  We tried a few gas drops too, but they didn't help after about an hour of her sleeping.

    same here.  He started going once every few days last week and last went on Monday.  Freaked me out at first, but i understand it's nornal.  Judging by the smell of his farts I'm expecting he'll go today.

    About 2 weeks ago we switched from having little marks all day with about 5 blow outs, to 2 or 3 blowouts and the rest gas.
