pt test 7 days after embryo transfer. -neg result :(

Hi all,

Today I am 10 days post transfer of 1 good embryo, and could not wait any longer so I took a t pt test and it came out negative :(. not a happy camper right now.

I know my body toooooooooo well, and have no signs of pregnancy.  Last round I did IUI with no drugs, and that too was negative.

This time we did IVF and only transferred 1 ,doc said, "good" blastocyte, day 5.  with  assisted hatching!!! why doest my embie want to stick???

how many of you out there took a pt test before the blood test and it came up neg, then turned out to be positve?? i realllllllllyyyyyyyyy know my body and it's not hopeful to me that monday when I do blood test it will change the result.  All this come after giving birth to my twins sept 2010, havinge gone into pre term labor at 23w4d, and spending 16 days in the NICU with my son and 26 days in the NICU with my daughter, and having the worst end result you could ever imagine.  My poor babies had every preemie illness and their lungs just would not grow to work.  They both passed in October 2010....

so I am full of emotion and I dont know what my next step is. 

I was sure the IVF would work!! we only did one embie to stay away from the twin ascpect.

    I don't have any advice about IVF  but I wan't to say I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you get good news on Monday.

    I don't have any insight, but I just wanted to say to hang in there.  I'm so sorry you have to be going through this.  Monday can't some soon enough.

    Well, I haven't done this but I didn't get a positive until 12 days past transfer w/DS one so I wouldn't give up just yet.

    so the pee test after 10 days came back negative. the doctor is always like noooooooo don't go by the pee test, but it has been right every time!!! went for blood monday,,, NEGATIVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

     

    so first round of IVF DIDN'T WORK!!! now they want to change the wholeeeeeeeee protocol and start stim again in late June......  I had a bad batch of eggs he is attributing it to... THIS SUCKS!!!
