SO BORED in long island!

My 8 month daughter and I are home... all day long. My husband works late. We go for walks.... we go to the mall/shopping... I'm just so bored now. Anyone else from Long Island have any suggestions on what to do?

    What area of LI?  I mean there's Brooklyn and then there's farmland out on the east end...  There's inland and then the beaches, ponds, and estuaries..  I was born and raised and lived most of my life on LI but I can't really give advice unless I have an idea at least what county/etc you are in...
