1st night with toddler clock = Mommy fail.

So Jace's desire to cuddle in my bed first thing upon waking has put a serious damper on our love life.

We decided to invest in one of those toddler clocks that turns green when it's OK to get up.

The result?

Jace wet the bed for the first time in forever because he thought he couldn't come out of his room yet.

Ummm.... Mommy FAIL!!

Who knew he'd actually listen and mind?

Then we explained that when it's yellow (all night long) he CAN go pee. Pee is yellow so the yellow light means OK to pee.

The green is only for Mommy's room.

2nd night went much better!

omg, doesn't that just figure!

We have one of those clocks too and this morning (10 min before DD's light turns green) I hear her calling from her room "mommmmmmyyyyyy I have to go potty". No matter how many times I tell her to just come out of her room and go, she still thinks she needs 'permission' to leave her room before the light is green.
