Dont Think I Can Handle Two Babies...

DFs knee has been bothering him for a couple days, feeling stiff and painful so hes been trying to take it easy. Last night he was laying on the couch like he was dying and I had to help him into the bed, he was hobbling like a cripple.

Well this morning I noticed his knee was feeling hot and looked puffy which is not good. I called the doctor and they were able to work him in this morning to take a look at it. He just called me and the poor dear has an infection in his knee! They gave him antibiotics and put him on crutches for a week and want him to stay off of it as much as possible until the infections clears. My due date is next Friday, if LO doesnt come sooner, and I cant take care of two babies! DF is a sweetheart but he gets pretty pathetic when hes in pain. (ie he gets the worst "man colds" and is completely out of commission)

I was hoping for Rilynn to make her debut this weekend but now Im crossing my legs! Can you see DF trying to help me walk the halls during labor while hes on crutches? lol

Of course with Murphys law and my luck I will probably go into labor now lol

    What man isn't? DH has been sick once since we have been married and it was a few weeks ago. I told him I would go get him tylenol and gatorade but he's a big boy. I had to take care of myself when I was sick in first tri when he went to work, one day wouldn't kill him! lol.

    And if you go into labor, you have to find a way to video tape him on crutches while going through the halls laboring! :) Hopefully LO stays put for you though!

    Not very good timing :( I hope he feels better quick and your LO stays put for another week.

    Dh broke his knee when I was 30 weeks pg and was in a cast until 36 weeks! So I sooo feel your pain. I took care of him, our sons and worked full time. I was in bed by 8 every night. Hopefully your lo can stay put a little longer!
