I have one that I got on my 18th birthday on my lower back, it's just a tribal tattoo, no meaning to it other than yay I'm 18 finally!
Mom to six awesome kids - Levi is 12, Landen is 8, Gabrielle is 6, Lucas is 3, and Oliver and Samuel are 2 years old. Love my crew.

I have four. The meanings behind some are kind of lame and cheesy but oh well.
1st - Two yellow roses wrapped in barbed wire on the right side of my lower back. It's supposed to stand for DH and I, and us surviving all the crap the military threw at us before and during his first deployment. Like I said, cheesy meaning right? Oh well, I still love the design of it.
2nd - A tribal looking phoenix on my left shoulder blade. Rising from the ashes of miscarriage and heartache and all that. Again, kind of cheesy. It's my favorite though.
3rd - A vine with 4 ivy leaves on it (for 4th ID) and a butterfly for each deployment. I need to add another one soon. I'm not looking forward to it because foot tattoos hurt so much.
4th - Two very small dog paw prints on my hip. I guess the "meaning" for that is pretty obvious.
I want to get something small to represent the kids but I can't decide what so I haven't yet. Maybe one day I'll make up my mind.
I have lots. LOTS. About 65 hours worth of work. I have my shoulders capped with a star pierced by arrow (I'm a sagittarius, shooting for the stars) I have a sparrow on each shoulder blade, one with a "Mom" and one with a "Pappy" banner - parents. I have a very large yin/yang in the middle of my back - fire and flowers....with fire brings new life type of thing. I have a half sleeve of beautiful tropical flowers, both thighs done, one with flowers the other with my birth chart, and a large koi piece on one calf. And a couple other small ones.
Here are a few pics:
I have this on my foot, I got it when I was on a trip to Chicago. It kind of symbolizes my free spirit.
I have 4
#1 I got after I turned 18. It is a lily of the valley that I drew and it is on the right side of my lower back. It was my "i'm 18 and out of the house" tattoo.
#2 I got after a bad break up during an even worse date. It is a small dove on my left wrist.
#3 I got after I graduated from college. It is the words "We need to pray for each other" and a dove on my right forearm. My Grandma used to write that in every card we got from her.
#4 Is a Rosary on my right foot/ankle. My BIL did it for practice. I've seen it on different people and always thought it was beautiful, but it has more meaning now since I have been saying a decade of the Rosary every night since my BFP for the health of my girls. It seems to be working so far, only 8 days of NICU time for one and only minor congestion so far (knock on wood).
Once I get the $$$ together and lose some of my extra weight I'd like to get a half sleeve for my daughters. A spider for Charlotte and a kitten for Kathleen (we call her Kat) with a gladiolus for their birth month. I want it done in an old storybook style. It is kind of cheesy, but I like it.
My other is a moon behind clouds with stars that I got when I was 16. My mom nt with me and signed for it. I got it because I was always told I was a dreamer and I'm a complete night owl.
I want to get one for my kids and the baby we lost. I'm trying to talk my virgin husband into getting one too.
I have 3.
I got my first when I was 17. Green and purple stars on my lower back. Very klassy.
The second I got when I was 19. Chinese symbol that's supposed to mean Courage on the back of my neck. I'm sure it probably doesn't mean that since I picked it out of a book.Oh to be young and dumb...
My third I got when I was 20 and is a scorpion on my forearm. I'm (obviously) a Scorpio.
I'm getting another in a couple weeks! That's my Mothe'rs Day present from DH. The boys are also Scorpios so I'm going to probably get two little baby scorpions by the big one.
I have always wanted to do the coordinates (for my adopted son) ~~ and then dummy Angelina jolie completely stole my idea. Those are on her upper arm... she has a line for each of her kids.... the coordinates of where they were born.
(like, ......55 NW, 78 S) I feel like if I do it, people will think I've copied her,
My DH has a 4 leaf clover on his ankle, and I'd like to get one too (since we are both part Irish).
Freshman year of college 3 of us decided to skip class and go get tattoos. I have a small butterfly in the center of my lower back.
Although I found out when I was getting my epidural that it is not actually centered LOL!!! Don't remember exact comments because I was a nervous wreck but remember them laughing about it being off centered.
I have three.
Just above right ankle - music staff, treble clef and notes with pretty colors! If I coulda found viola flash, it would be even more awesome!
Right arm - tribal flower design. I got it for my mom after she passed.
Left arm - my new, tattoo for all my boys. A stuffed panda bear (my DH's nickname is Panda), two banners, one with each of the boys names in their colors. And one each of their footprints.
