How long is your 3 wk old going at night?

I like to hear others in the same boat as me.. it makes the sleep deprivation not as bad!! DD will go average (like, on the dot, it's so weird!) of 3 hours of sleep per night btwn feedings.. she maxed out at 4 hours once a few nights ago. She stays asleep - but the average stretch of sleep is still 3 hours at a time.

What about you and your 3 week old?

My DD is pretty much 3 hours on the dot during the night.   I've had two nights so far with a 5 hour stretch, which were like heaven...still trying to figure out how to get more of those.  Last night we had a two hour stretch and a 3 hour stretch, so anywhere from 2-5 really.  I don't really mind, I'm getting used to getting up with her.

DS goes 4-5 hour stretches every night.  I consider myself lucky and every time I say how long he goes, I feel like I'm jinxing myself!

  • Just shy of 3 weeks but she typically goes about 3 hours. We've had a few 4-5 hour stretches.

  • Max is a few days shy of three weeks and he'll usually give us 3 hours, although once it was 4. I find it funny though that it's usually three hours on the dot.

  • Ugh we might get 3 hours at times but mostly 2.  I hope soon she sleeps more! I am tired!

  • Oh god, I'm so jealous. My 5 week old will occasionally go 3-4 hours at night but it's usually 1-2 hours.

DD is the same way - 3 hours on the dot between feedings. But since she's up for a while afterwards she (and by proxy ME) is only sleeping for about 60-90 minutes between feedings. We had a few nights last week where she went 5 hours (and once even 6 hours) but that didn't last. She's also the loudest sleeper and so I feel like we really get zero sleep because I'm always up checking on her assuming she's awake when she's not.

DS started sleeping 10pm-6am at 8 weeks. I'm praying she takes after him!!!

  • I'm still at 1-2 hours.

    This!

My almost 6 week old sleeps everynight 8-12 then wakes up every hour after that and this 4 hour stretch just happened this week. Lucky me..
