A friend told me about this, I was skeptical but let me tell you it works!
Panela - it's a kind of brown sugar, unrefined. It's I think Colombian. It's sold at supermarkets with the sugar, it comes in a hard circle shaped block.
So, make lemonade, but instead of sugar, use the panela. Squeeze fresh lemons, add water, & panela, I used about a quarter of the circle in mine, but it will depend on how big the pitcher is. It takes a bit to dissolve in the lemonade. It's delicious, plus it helps settle a nauseated tummy

No, Panela. Canela is the spanish word for cinnamon, at least that's what I've always said, but I'm Cuban so it may be a different word. Here's one on Amazon.
