I hear Aubrey stirring in her bassinet. I just put her down. She's been a velociraptor all night and Lord knows I need a break. My nips are what need a break, really. She's been comfort nursing for the past 2hrs with very few breaks in between. I'm about to run out of my First Years Nipple Butter - not good after nights like these.
Tonights topic: What TV shows do you watch religiously? Any new shows catch your interest?
I love 16 & PG, Swamp People (don't judge lol), and I've just started watching Extreme Couponing. That show is intensely interesting - I am so tempted to give it a try, especially now that I'm a SAHM. Makes me wish I paid more attention in math classes, though lol.
Aubrey is officially up but I'm procrastinating picking her up because she's 90% talking and 10% fussing. Ugh, why does this child hate sleep so much?

Julian is currently half asleep, he's not drinking from his bottle but screams and gets mouthy if I take it away. I know he must be hungry since it's been 3 hours since his last meal and he only ate 2 oz then. I'm gonna go try and put him down and see what happens. My boobs feel like they're about to explode, need to get a pumpin'.

Well Conor is asleep, so I should be too, but instead I'm bumping while DH watches the basketball playoffs... We have thrush (boo) so he's been a super fussy eater recently and I hear ya on the nips needing a break. Mine hurt sooooo bad right now! And since he's been a fussy eater he hasn't been eating as much, so everything just hurts in general. Ugh.
I watch NCIS and White Collar (on USA) religiously, and try to catch re-runs of 16&PG and Teen Mom when they're on during the day, since all I seem to do is sit on the couch and feed DS, or have him napping on my lap since he won't nap anywhere else (except the moby, but I'm usually too lazy/napping with him) unless he's swaddled. I also try to keep up with Bones and House, but haven't been too successful this season...DF is feeding Audrey. She's been traumatized a few times today. She had a HUGE poop this afternoon that was just a mess to clean up. We ended up giving her a bath because even though I got it all off her she still smelled lol! Then we tried to put drops in her eyes and she wasn't having any of it. "Pull down the bottom lid and put a thin ribbon along the inside" the pharmacist says.. yeah.. right. She's having a real mommy day today.. this is actually one of the few times she's let DF hold her today. I am printing out pics of wedding dresses to take to my appointments on Friday. My mom and I are going wedding dress shopping and I'm leaving Audrey home for the day. I may regret this because my body isn't exactly in the shape I want it to be, but I need to start looking. I called one place and they said it's taking 6-8 months for dress orders to arrive. Oh well.. it should be fun anyway!
Really the only show we won't miss is Glee.. LOVE it!!

We Hulu "Community" and have been watching all of the X-Files episodes in order. I'm soooo glad we didn't start doing that when I was PG or I would have probably named Liam Fox. For some reason, I think Fox Pennington sounds awesome (I can't imagine a good middle name, though :-)

I religiously watch House, NCIS, Criminal Minds, and 16 & Pregnant. Everything else we watch is DVRed and we watch it whenever.
Patrick has been a fussy pants today. Nothing is making him happy and he doesn't want to really eat or sleep. He has a couple hard spots on his top gums, so he has an appointment with the pedi Friday to see if he is starting to teeth (please, let it be that. I can't take another formula switch). He's taken ONE good nap that was only 3 hours. Here's hoping he sleeps like a rock tonight. Nothing yet, he's up and screaming.
I religiously watch Grey's Anatomy and 16&pg. I've caught a couple episodes of Extreme Couponing, but I'm afraid I'll want to be a SAHM and devote my life to coupon clipping if I watch anymore. I got a rush when I saved 20% on my total at Carter's. I can't imagine the high I would get off saving 98% of my total bill on groceries!
Amelia was an angel today. We hung around the house, napped a little, went to church tonight, and she's snuggling on the couch with DH now. She'll eat in about 20 min or so, and hopefully she'll sleep like she did last night - two 4 hour stretches with a feeding in the middle. It was like new mom heaven.

C is fast asleep. Went down at 9, woke at 1130 dirty and in need of a snack, now passed out again. We're going to try the crib for the entire night.
My old faves are 24, Friends, King of Queens, SYTYCD, How I Met Your Mother and House. Newer faves are The Middle and Extreme Couponing, although EC stars are the exception to couponers, not the rule. The trips they show are not their normal trips and they are highly sensationalized... "oh no, my total is $1247.97. how will i pay for 76 bottles of mustard? i only planned to spend $5!!!"
I've been using the last few days to watch a lot of The Tudors. My blessed in-laws lent me the last 3 seasons... so I watched season one the last few days, and Charlotte was an angel today (as long as I held her) so I completed season two... on TV I've been watching a lot of the biography channel and at night... The Nanny LOL
Man, I wish I would have either woke her up or slept last night! She fed at 7 like normal but then was still sound asleep through the 10pm hour... sometimes she will go 4-4.5 hours so no biggy... SO was suppose to be home shortly after midnight and I was excited to hang out with him on the deck afterwards... well, C kept sleeping and SO didn't end up getting home until almost 3am! So the entire time I stayed up "waiting" for him (we don't get to see a lot of each other bc of his work schedule).... Man I wish I had slept! She slept from about 7:20 till almost 4! 7+ hours of uninterrupted sleep... But then of course she kept me up till almost 530 eating off and on, and then SO got up with her at about 8 so I could sleep till 11....lol - what I wouldn't have given for those 7+ hours had I known!
Today she has been an angel...sleeping in my lap as usual... but I plan on waking her up to feed around1230-1ish in hopes of her doing another 7 hour stretch LOL
Also... yesterday I made her smile for the first time! She has been working on her smiles for a few days but yesterday I, myself, actually made her smile about 5 times in a row... and today I had her going for about ten minutes straight! WOW! What a rush! That is the best feeling in the world! All this "work" for the last 7 weeks and I finally get to make my baby smile! Totally in love!
Sorry for the novel. It's been a couple days since I could do a Roll Call... I think she is *finally* out of her 6 week growth spurt I've been dealing with since Mothers Day LOL
OH-MY-GAWD your DD is so freakin' cute!!!!!
So I'm sure you ladies are very well aware of all the biitching I do about DH. Well get ready to have your mind blown. DH got off of work a little early and got home not even 5mins after I finally got my dinosaur child to sleep. He voluntarily rubbed my back and my scalp for a good 30mins and fed me compliments about my mothering, my beauty and me being a SAHM like it was going out of style. It was SO worth loosing an hour of sleep to be semi pampered and appreciated.
AND he just got up to help me re-swaddle Aubrey and to console her while I was getting ready to BF her. Where did this man come from? I like him! Can he stay? Can I keep him, please?!?
