My baby started crawling at 6 1/2 months- pulling up at 7 1/2 months and cruising around furniture as well. He walked with a walker at 8 1/2- 9 months and just started walking at 11 1/2 months. So he was cruising for around 4 months or more before walking fully not just a few steps.
I actually never understood the desire to want them to walk. Matthew is such a freaking handful and if you try and pick him up when he wants to walk he goes boneless flinging both of us to the floor.
Please explain how my toddler can overpower me. I still don't understand

I'd like to worry less about dirty floors (not at home, but out).
Does "boneless flinging = wet noodle? That has made me almost drop her so many times.
Oh about a couple mmonths. DS started crawling @5.5mos which led to him pulling up/standing, then taking a couple steps here & there, and then officially walking 1 week before he was 8mos old. He is a handful!
Re: Cruising---->Walking
This for DD as well.
