  • Here's mine - I have been here too long.  I actually have figured out that a reply count of 10% is pretty good (you know, if 40 people have looked at your message, you're doing pretty well if 4-5 people have responded, etc).  Why I have this fact stored in my brain while I can't remember names of people I meet...  pathetic, really...

  • Here's mine: Z is a super soaker and I've been trying fitters with foo foo hemp inserts under a WCW soaker. He is peeing all the way through the fitted combo and night but the WCW is keeping the outside dry. I hate how he's all wet in the morning and he looks so uncomfortable with such a fluffy butt. So I've been using a disposable under the WCW at night because they always leak out the top when he sleeps on his tummy.

  • I have two paragraphs left to write and a wikipedia edit to do before I'm done with my semester. But since neither is due until midnight, I'm screwing around in the office while MH plays with DD.

I know, that's not really flameworthy, but it's all I've got.

    1. DH bought hot dogs on Monday and I was craving them last night so I made one.  Ugh, one bite in and it was totally grossed and I remembered why I don't eat that garbage and threw it away.  Gross, processed garbage food and wastefulness all rolled into one.

    2. I bought disposable cleaning wipes (Method) to wipe down the bathroom counters with, the reason for which leads into my confession #3....

    3. I use Dollar Tree sponges to clean my bathrooms (3).  First, I clean the counters in each bathroom, then I do the toilets (the outside).  I bought the cleaning wipes because it feels wasteful to use a whole sponge just to clean the counter in one bathroom when I normally use it to clean three, so...anyway that's it.  Yes, I use Dollar Tree sponges AND disposable cleaning wipes.  For shame.  Oh, and I use 7th Gen or Method cleaning solution so not even making my own economical, EF cleaners.

Seriously though, whatever. You're doing fine! I hate cleaning my bathroom and I totally use those clorox cleaner things for the toilet bowl. I refuse to stick my hand anywhere near that thing! LOL

Mine:: I still use paper towels. *gasp* BAD CELTI! I know, I know... I just have never invested much time or effort or $$ into how to do unpaper towels. I need to though... but I am pregnant, lazy and hate doing all the laundry I have right now as it is! UGH. haha

LOL, you're worse than me!  Clorox and paper towels!  I think we should both commit to give up one of our vices this year, huh?  Stick out tongue

  • CABunny - I used the Clorex wipes when we were first getting in to EFF because we somehow got them for free from someone, and I couldn't stand the film they used to leave.  Not trying to naysay the Method ones, just me spouting off my mouth!

And I still use paper towels, and ever since I found we can put them in our compost, I've been using a few more than I usually would...  Embarrassed

I KNOW! UGH! I'm terrible!!! I am hiding my head in shame. LOL

Seriously. Sometimes bleaching, paper overnight diapers and paper towels are my EFF'er follies. I really wanna get rid of the paper towels the most because they are what we use the most. I only use the bleach thingy's in the toilet bowl and then regular stuff for the occassional bleaching of diapers or my fridge/counters (very rare)... but the paper towels are constant ya know?

  • Today is my dads first Chemo therapy.

I have been looking forward to having the house to myself and dd for 6 or so hours since I found out.  My plans are to sanitize my dads bed, wash the dog, make a pot of stew, play in the garden and chill. Can you hear the stress falling off my shoulders in the peace and quiet?

  • We use paper towels, too. :/

  • I didn't see this, so I posted above that we're about to buy an SUV.  Embarrassed

But,  my FFC is this:  DS hardly napped at all.  He's been awake for an hour and I've left him playing in his room while I laid in bed with DD.  I just don't have the energy to chase him around.  I usually get a good 2 hours to get things done while he naps and I can't bring myself to go get him yet.  If he was upset I'd get him, but he's playing so nicely so I'm taking advantage.

  • I could never give up paper towels. Certain animal messes require them.

We ran out of toilet bowl cleaner this past weekend and I'm going to try my hardest to find an EF way to clean it and be okay with it. If I can clean the toilet EF then I figure I can clean anything EF once my supplies run out again.
