Pediatrician Recs

Does anyone have a pediatrician that they like downtown or on the Northside? Currently, all of our doctors are through Northwestern. It would be great if we could stick with them, but not a must.

We're looking for someone laid back but patient with first time parents.

    We love Dr. Ray at Town and Country.  During the first few well visits, she would patiently listen to my list of questions that I would write down and answered all thoroughly.  She's just great with kids and parents.  I was also amazed that she remembered us.  I ran into her at Kohl's once and she knew who I was.

    I also like the flexible hours T&C has.  It's so nice to be able to call and get an appointment at night or on a Saturday or Sunday.  All the doctors have privileges at Prentice, so whichever doctor is doing rounds will visit you and your baby in the hospital.

    We love Dr. Wyman also at T&C.  I have to say we have been very pleased with all the docs we've seen and the nurses have been great when I called.

    Perfect! T&C was on the (long) list of recs from my OBGYN. It is nice to know where to start. I'll give them a call.

    Love Dr. Donohoe at Children's Healthcare Associates on Sheffield. The practice is affiliated with NW and we have seen a few doctors there we really like besides Dr. D (especially Dr. Gosch!)
