grandparent(s) name? curious.....

What do your parent or in-laws want LO to call them? My mom wants to be called yaya. My dad wants to be poppyio and my step dad wamts to go by beau-pere (bobo for short)

    It was a huge ordeal in our family because both grandpas wanted to be "Papa".

    My parents are Nani and Papa Bob

    DH's Dad is Papa Ed, Stepmom is Grandma, and Mom is Gram.

    My mom is Grandma, my dad is Papa.  FIL is Grandpa, and MIL is Grandma Kim.

    My parents are papa and grandma plus their names (papa rob & grandma janet), my SM, just to be a pain in the arse and different wants to be called Granny, and my husbands SM wants to be called Momma (yeah, that shiz isn't happening)

    My Mom is Mammaw.

    His Mom is Nana. His grandma is Nanny.

    My dad is Pappaw.

    His dad is Old Pappaw.

    His grandpa is Older Pappaw.

    His other grandma is Meeee-maw.

    Uhmn.. oh no she di'int?!

     

    & MIL is Unga [first "word" he "said" to her]. My mom and dad are probably Ama and Apa just because that's what O's cousin calls them, but really, I think he'll just find his own words and sounds for them.

    MIL and FIL are Grandma/Mawmaw, Grandpa/Pawpaw, My parents are Mammy and Pappy (my parents chose those names.)

    FI's parents are MeMe (pronounced may-may) and Pop Pop.  My mom is just Grandma.

    DH's parents are divorced and remarried so DS has 3 sets of grandparents.

    Mimi & Papa (my parents)

    Pops & Bubbie

    Granmimi & Papou

    I hate Granmimi and always shorten it to Granny so my MIL will probably kill me in my sleep one day.  My Mom has always been Mimi to my sisters kids so Granmimi is just too close..........and stupid, LOL.

    Everyone's decided that they will let LO decide what she wants to call them whether that's Grandma, Granny, Gigi, whatever.

    My H and his sister used to call their grandma that lived in Ohio GrandmaInOhio (on long word smooshed together) just on their own, and that's what stuck.
