I went on a Mommy lunch today...

I've never done this before and wonder why I waited so long.  I have a nanny for DS when I'm working and today our nanny watched DS and my friends kids while we went out to lunch.  We both pretty much never leave the house without our kids, with the exception of the occasional dental appointment - I'm sure many can relate to this.  The mental break from DS, the house and work was wonderful... it was one hour and fifteen minutes and I'm so refreshed!  I will be making this more of a habit.  I hope everyone is having a great day! 

Oh no, DS's nap just ended and it was a very short one, it may be a little hairy around here until bedtime.

    Isn't that great?  Last night my sister and I went out to dinner and then to see "Something Borrowed".  It was so nice to have conversation and not be interrupted or have to hide the pepper, utensils, etc.

    Hope you're able to do it more often! :)

    Thanks! It was nice to just sit down at a restaurant table and not have to clear it before sliding in the highchair.

    ::Cringe:: I called myself mommy.  My friends DD calls her mommy and it must have gotten stuck in my head.
