I saw the bird mobile in your nursery name PIP from yesterday - it looks like maybe you made it. I'm in the process of making one too but haven't decided quite how to get all the pieces together or how many birds to use, etc. Do you have any more pics or tips you could share? TIA!

Re: ~*brobbins05*~ Mobile question
Hopefully it doesn't look too homemade! I bought the paper birdies on etsy, and you could either make or buy any kind of little shape you like. The shop I got them from was https://www.etsy.com/shop/magicalwhimsy just in case you were wanting birdies too.
Then I used the folllowing tutorial to make the rest. I got the supplies from Michaels or Hobby Lobby, can't remember. It took just a couple hours and came out much better than I'd expected! You'll see that the tutorial below includes how to make little fabric "dollops" it calls them as your main items but I just skipped those and used the instructions for the mounting and hanging.

LOL, no it's adorable! I only guessed you'd made it since I'm trying to do one. I actually got little wooden birds and flowers that I am covering in scrapbook paper and was worried about having too many patterns but I think yours looks similar so I should be ok. I really like the little beads - I may steal that! I got the original idea from a blog post as well but I am modifying it and it's always easier to picture things in my head than to actually create them.
Thanks!
