Hi ladies, I was a Houston knottie and moved to Atlanta from Houston about 5 years ago. Due to DHs job, we are potentially going to be moving back to Houston, but now we have a child to consider. We previously lived in Cinco Ranch which seemed so, so far away from everything, but had great public schools and pools, etc.
Any advice you can give on areas to live in and/or avoid with respect to good school districts and in close proximity to fun things to do for young families would be so appreciated! DH will be working downtown, so commute is a consideration (but Metro commuter bus is definitely an option).
Also, any recs for a great realtor would also be appreciated! TIA!
Re: XP: potential move (back) to Houston; need recs, please!
Hi there!
Just going off your post and not knowing what your desired price range is etc, I'm going to throw these links out there:
https://www.bridgeland.com/
https://www.townelaketexas.com/
https://www.visitfairfield.com/
are all in the Cypress area and are the perfect master planned communties for families. There is also a new Metro bus garage in Cypress as well, so you can check that out to see if that would be a good option for your husband.
This is the newest master planned neighborhood in The Woodlands

He could take the Hardy Toll to 59 or just take 45 straight in depending on what time he'll need to be down town.
In my opinion these are the two best areas (Katy not included) on the Northside.
I'm a Realtor, but I'm not sure I can post my link on thebump, so PM me if you want my link or just have addtional questions.
