When to worry about no poop...

DD hasn't pooped since early Monday morning.  Up until last week she was at least pooping once a day and last week it started spacing out until every other day...I was just wondering what was normal for other babies.  She's EBF so I didn't really expect things to space out.  TIA

    She could go a week without pooping. Or more. DD usually goes every day, but every now and then she'll go a few days between poops.

    I was told by our pedi that BF babies can go up to 10 days without going. I got worried after 7. As long as she is passing gas we were told she was good as it meant there was nothing obstructing her bowel. DD usually goes every 3 to 5 days.

    My ped said not to look at the days as much as the behavior. Is she straining to go? Is her BM hard and clay like? Is she passing gas normally? These things seemed to be more important to him. He did say that if she goes more than 7 days then he would suggest using diluted apple juice to help move things along and to make an appointment if it didn't work.

    DD around 2 months went a week without pooping and when I talked to her pedi at the 2 mo appt she said that if I'm worried to call the office any time and talk about the symptoms of not pooping.  Gas is ok, and very normal, but if she's in pain there might be something we need to get checked out.  She doesnt go that long anymore, but a few days here and there without poopies are pretty normal for her.

    I was told to call if it had been a week. I still have some of the pumped milk from week 1 with the colostrum in it. If it's been 2 days I'll mix an ounce of that with an ounce of fresh milk. He's usually pooping a few hours later.

    Mj poops twice every couple days.  There's little waste in breast milk which is why there's not as much poop, from what i've read/heard.

    If Silvie goes 3-4 days without pooping (which she's been doing a lot this month) she starts getting really irritable and eating less than half of what she normally eats. I've been doing a tsp of Karo syrup once a day with her bottle but it doesn't seem to help. Pediatrician said I could use the thermometer to stimulate her butt at every diaper change if I wanted, but it doesn't help. I've resorted to using my pinky with a little vaseline, and that works like a charm. She just doesn't like to poop!
