I just installed IE 9 and I HATE it. It is so annoying because it is so different from IE 8. I am sure that if I took the time to learn it, I would like it much better than I do now, but I don't have time. It isn't intuitive at all.
So, before I decide to up and install another browser, what are the pros and cons to Firefox? I don't like Safari or Google Chrome, so those are not options. TIA!
Re: Talk to me about Firefox..
I use Firefox most of the time: Seems better at pop ups ane passwords, but I do run in to some problems with Flash sites.
Can you just roll back to IE 8? You aren't the first person I've heard to hate it. It's such BS that they have to make such dramatic changes to something as simple as a web browers.
I could roll back, but I was getting a lot of Flash and html errors in 8. I am wondering if that is MSs sneaky way to get everyone with Windows 7 to switch to IE9. I haven't had any error codes come up since switching, so I should probably just learn it. It wouldn't take me that long to run through the tutorials, but I am in the middle of too many projects.
I suppose I could go learn the browser instead of dinking around on TB, FB, and Pinterest, but where's the fun in that?

The crashing. It crashed a lot when I first downloaded it. I can't have that!

Gosh, I downloaded it when it first came out. I haven't tried since. Maybe I should do a browser buffet and see which one I like the best now!

Love firefox!
Lol, DH uses IE and I use FF just so that we don't have to log out of our FB accounts....
That is goofy and awesome, all at the same time!

I use firefox and love it! We downloaded it on recommendation from A's husband who has a computer science degree.
I love that's simple, easy to use, and seems to have less issues than other browsers I've tried.
