Ok, this season's opener was crazzazy. That Melissa is something else. And the FIGHT. WTF at the CHRISTENING!! Teresa and Joe's situation made me think of that old song "mo' money mo' problems."
Beyond entertaining - but boy is that family trashy. A fistfight at a christening is just beyond words. I don't know who is worse, Teresa's husband or her brother. It reminds me of everything I have always hated about NJ.
However- the scene with the Manzos all cooking dinner and the cajun jibberish had me in STITCHES.
Like to the point i had to pause the TV because i was laughing so hard and didn't want to wake the kids. I even played it for DH and laughed my butt off again- while dh smirked - he didn't think it was hysterical as i did. What can I say- it was just the kind of day i had yesterday. Cracked me up.
It was crazy!!! I was so confused after the fight broke out. You could see Theresa's husband and brother being held back but there was like a pile of people fighting in between them. Why were other people fighting? It was so weird! And Melissa is a bit*h!
I'm so glad someone posted this. I was embarrassed to admit that I watched it. :-) That episode was crazy, and Teresa's brother is out of control. Actually, both Joes are out of control, but he went nuts for seemingly no reason. Even if he did think she was being fake, why would he start pounding the table and yelling at his son's Christening??? And his poor parents. That whole family just screams "new money trash" to me. The gigantic gaudy houses, luxury cars they can't afford, competition among the sisters-in-law about who can throw a bigger party or who has a nicer house, and not to mention bankruptcy on top of it all, while still maintaining the ridiculous facade. Ick.
As for the rest of the episode, I love the Manzo family, and felt so bad for Carolyn when her boys moved out. They just all seem so down to earth and loving.
I cannot stand Ashely and her horrible attitude. Complaining about having to get to work on time? Who does that? She is a spoiled brat, and I'm glad her parents put her in her place.
On our way to 3 under 4!

I know -- who were those people? They never explained that.

UGH that effing ASHLEY. What a brat. She gets an intership for Lizzie Grubman for crying out loud and can't be bothered to show up.

Agree with both of this points so much. Love Carolyn. Love Jacqueline and her husband Chris too, and I am so happy they don't let Ashley get away with her entitled spoiled brat attitude. I just want to smack her across the face.
I am a hard core trashy reality tv lover, but I have to say this episode kind of made me not want to watch. It was almost too much and just made me sad - which is saying a lot coming from me
Of course, I am sure I will be glued again next week. I am not a Teresa fan, but I did feel bad for her. Her brother is crazy and his wife is trash.
I did read that Joe (Teresa's H) didn't throw any punches, he wasn't involved in the fight at all. I read on realitytea.com that it was actually Teresa's MOTHER that threw the punch at Joey
I also would like to slap some sense into Ashley, that spoiled brat
Also, I just wanted to add that Andy Cohen just posted on FB that they just finished taping the OC reunion and it is "the best we've done in 6 seasons of that show. Really dramatic!"

I pph Andy. Like for real. My dying wish is to be on Watch What Happens Live and have drinks with him. A couple friends and I actually researched it to see if they had a studio audience (they do not) so we could attend

that would be hysterical! where is it taped? NYC? or CA?
Teresa and her family just disgust me. I agree with the pp that I like trashy tv but that was just upsetting to watch.
The fight aside, who among us doesn't get our hair and makeup done for a Christening!?!?
Ashley is a total brat. I'd like to know why she can't use her earnings from this show, since she is a 'character' on it, to pay to commute into the city? Oh and Lizzie Grubman! Now there is a name I haven't heard in years! She did time in jail for running people over with her SUV about 10 yrs ago outside a nightclub in the Hamptons....guess she's doing her own PR by re-inventing her image on this show.

I remember that about Lizzie Grubman! She was drunk and mad at someone!
Remember she had a short-lived reality show on MTV about her PR firm? It was called Power Girls or something like that
