i had to park half a mile away and wait in line with baby in the bjorn and my 8 year old for 1.5 hours and then on the walk back to the car it was raining - baby slept the whole time and evan was patient, whew! when we were in the back of the line my husband walked out, having just voted on his break. i was so jealous. my feet hurt. totally worth it. go obama!
Re: how long was your line to vote?
Bloggin' It
in Central Louisiana, the line was about 45 minutes long at 9 AM. I figured I'd give the people that work a chance to go vote in the early morning so I went when they'd all be at work!
I put DD in her stroller so I didn't have to hold her the whole time!
I didn't have a line, but they somehow had my name under my maiden name. I've been married 5 years, changed it at the DMV AND have voted under my married name since. go figure. Fortunately, we're in MN, and we can register the same day, so I wasn't worried.
