that your KU? I mean, like doesn't do any extra little things for you (ie: get you water while you're in bed, or get you a snack while you're in bed)?

DH just acted like I was the biggest inconvenience in the world bec I wanted a snack after he got home from work (11p and he does have to wrk at 7a)...I understand you are working a back to back...

Dude, I'm KU w/twins. I'm not supposed to be walking up and down the stairs 15 times a day. So if you're home, I'm gonna use your able body to FEED ME! If he read even 1 fvcking chapter of the book I got him, maybe he'd understand. Gosh, it's not like my pregnancy has inconvenienced me at all, really!

What does he think he'll be doing with twins while your recouping? A c/s or vaginal aren't going to being stair worthy for at least a week. Then again seeing the birth should give him a clue and sympathy. Next time he's sick repay the favor.

I hear this a lot from friends. My husband always thinks everything is NBD so I am used to him and his (super) laid back self. But my friends get mad a lot at husbands when they are expecting for this exact thing. I know we have heard it before but I think that it does not hit home for them until they see those babies. Thats not helpful to you right now though so I would have someone that he respects guilt the crap out of him. (his mom, his dad, or a brother?)

This is my DH most of the time. He thinks when I am tired, I need to tough it out and just do whatever I want to. I don't think he really understood the type of toll PG takes on our body, until he talked to his friend (who also have a PG wife, but a lot more helpful than my DH). My DH has been helping out a little more around the house, but nothing like the other couples that I know in my life.

My DH has been pretty good- I think it's because he has heard the doctor say that I should be laying down and resting as much as possible. First with the OHSS and then with the SCH. He bring me breakfast in bed every morning. He has his moments where he does start to get frustrated that I can't walk the dog and things like that, but overall he has been good. Although, that may change after a few more months.

He was more sympathetic when I was KU with our daughter (after losing our twins). Now, I am in "pre-labor," and I still have to run around after our daughter! Whatever...
