Short Story:

My midwife augmented my prodromal labor by admitting us to the hospital and breaking my water on May 11th at 4:25pm, I was 3cm. At 6:55pm I was 10cm, after 1.5hrs of pushing and a 1st degree episiotomy, Silas Manuel was born at 8:25pm. He weighed 7#12 and was 21 inches long.

So jealous your midwife is 'allowed' to break water, mine has to refer to an OB for that. What a cute little fellow- perfect size and all that cute hair! Sounds like everything went great- congrats!
