When my husband first suggested this monitor I thought it was a complete waste of money. Boy was I wrong. I love it. We are able to look in on LO and see if he is actually crying or just grunting. It was a gift so I can't say i would have purchased it for myself but I do love it.
I want to monitor both of my kids at a campground where I will most likely be outside of our travel trailer and they will be inside in seperate rooms. Do you think it would work good in my situation?
As long as you get a Summer monitor that has an "A/B" channel switch it will work for you...apparently some models don't have that, because I lent one of our extra cameras to a friend and hers did not have the option to use two channels. Anyway, we have two cameras and can switch back and forth between rooms (I put a cheap audio monitor in one room and then if I hear something I can change the video monitor to look at that room).

I love it. We haven't started using it yet since LO is still in our room but we play with it every time we go into the nursery. The picture is decent and you can pan/zoom the camera.
LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I got it when I was pg with DS and we still use it on him and he is almost 3. I need to get a newer model bc ours doesn't have the option to add another camera and I will need another one once the baby is out of our room. It was so nice to see if he really needed me when he was in a crib or was just fussing, and now that he's in a big boy bed, I can see if he is sleeping, just laying in bed or if he is out of bed playing in his room! Totally recommend it! Best baby purchase I've ever I made I think.

Yes, we've been very happy with ours. We've had ours for four years and just got another camera for Baby Boy's room. I switch the monitor back and forth (though it is mainly on Baby Boy).
It really helps at night. When the baby fusses, it helps to take a look on the monitor and know what's really going on before I get out of bed. It's great for a paranoid first time mama like me
At first I just registered for an audio monitor. But after having to get out of bed a million times in the middle of the night because of DSs little grunts and noises, I decided to go ahead and get the video monitor. I love it! When DS makes little nooises I can see if he really needs me or is just wiggling around before I get out of bed.
