Ohio Babies

Intro

edited July 2021 in Ohio Babies

New to this board! I'm excited to join a local board for support and shared experiences when TTC.

About 1 year ago, we found out I have an allergy to DH's semen. Not only does it make sex life less than pleasant, it will likely be impossible for us to conceive naturally.  I have been off of BC since October 2010 and we have been TTC ever since.  I have just started charting and taking my temperature every morning.  I have been keeping track of my cycles since October.  My cycles are longer than they should be (about 33- 36 days, depending on the month). My temperatures also fluctuate a bit more than they should. I am still trying to figure all of this out so that I can take this information to a reproductive specialist after another month or so.

Any advice on choosing a reproductive specialist in the Columbus area? This may be a long shot, but does any one else on this board have a seminal allergy? It would be nice to talk to someone else going through the same thing.

  • Welcome! Chiropractic has seen great results with infertility. There is quite a bit of research about chiropractic helping with infertility. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and also a chiropractor. If you have any questions about chiropractic or anything just email me. kentfamilychiropractic@gmail.com   Our office number is 614-259-3656 and the website is www.kentfamilychiro.com, there are some resources on the website as well. I wish you the best of luck in TTC, and welcome to the board.

Hi, I met you the other day on TTTC.  I live in Columbus and go to RGI. Reproductive Gynocologists Inc. The place is beautiful and the doctors are all real nice.  PM me if you have any specific questions.  There is also someone on TTTC that goes to ORM (Ohio Reproductive Medicine). If you have questions regarding that place, I'm sure she would be able to answer them.
