I prefer meetings because that is just one more way I am held accountable. Nobody sees when I was in except for the leader. Plus there is a weekly topic that is always helpful. And hearing what works for others is also really useful!
I have a 2 month old at home so online works best for me. My hubby stands next to me when I weigh in to keep me accountable. My sister also calls to check on me. There are lots of tools on line that are helping a lot!
I have an 8-week old, and am starting to think about getting back into my healthy routines from my old life too!
I'm a nutritionist and chef with a blog where I'll be starting an online group for new moms at the end of June. Its not a radical diet plan, but an 8-week class & support group for moms in our boat who are facing the same struggles. We'll have a once-a-week online class, plus forums & opportunities to share tips, recipes, and baby info. And we have some cool sponsors for participants so everyone will get a goodie bag. Just wanted to let you know in case you're interested! Email me if you are: amelia@eating-made-easy.com
If you choose to just stick with WW, that's a good plan too -- its one of the only reasonable "diet" programs out there. Best of luck with the new babe
