Success after IF

Question for those who've m/c

Had my 2 week out beta after my m/c today-which is down to zero.

I know this will vary person to person, but wanted to get a rough estimate: once your beta was <5, how long did it take for AF to show?
TIA!

    I have had 3 m/c's, but only had follow-up betas after 1.

With m/c #1, I had a beta of zero and my AF came within the next 2 days....BUT....that was a chemical PG and so it was a very, very early m/c.

    With m/c #2, I had a D&C and my AF came about 32 days after the D&C.

With m/c #3, I had another D&C and AF came about 38 days after that one.

I know this didn't specifically answer your question, but now that your levels are at zero, you should hopefully get your AF within the next 2 weeks or so.

  • Sorrry about your m/c.  I got AF 5 weeks after my D&C.  I think that was maybe 3 weeks after my beta got to zero.

  • I had to take provera to get AF after mine, but it was about 60 days.

I didn't even wait for mine...once beta was zero I started back on the pill to begin a new FET cycle...

  • within a week or two, but I was also stopping some serious p4 support.  I hope things come together soon for you, I know how frustrating this all is.

  • I never had my betas tested back down to zero but I was charting and did ovulate prior to getting negative hpt's and then I had my average 12 day luteal phase and then got af.  By the time I got AF the hpt's were negative so I'm assuming my beta was either back down to zero or close to it.

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
