My DD doesn not like me:(

I am pregnant with my second (not 2 under 2) they will be 22 months apart but I figure I could ask you ladies about this. Lately my 20 month old DD is not very fond of me at all. She acts out more with me than with DH and throws tantrums. She really doesn't want anything to do with me. She spends a little more time with Dh because he gets her ready in the morning, takes her to daycare etc, but still.

I was wondering if it has anything to do with me being pregnant or if anyone has experienced this before. Its starting to really hurt my feelings :(

    My dd doesn't like me right now either.  I think it is just a phase.  In her defense, I was on bedrest the last month of pregnancy and I am currently breastfeeding/pumping every two hours for her little sister.  Try not to let it hurt your feelings too much- last night when Hubs spoke harshly to her to correct behavior she wanted nothing to do with him for the rest of the night.  She only wanted me from then on- which I found amusing.

    I'm sure it's just a phase- try not to let it get to you.

    My DS goes through phases where he's more of a Mama's Boy or Daddy's Boy. It's momentary favoritism. :-) 

    I know it's difficult being pregnant, but maybe try to have a fun Mommy-Daughter date on the weekend. Go to the park or to lunch- do something special just the two of you.

    Thanks for your input ladies. I know I shouldn't let it get to me, which I usualy don't but lately it has gotten worse and being hormonal does not help. Good thing is that I'm a teacher and will be out for the summer in 3 weeks so we can spend quality time together this summer.
