where to sell platinum?

I know there have been posts before about selling old jewelry not that long ago but alas, the bump's search function sucks as usual.

Anybody have any suggestions about where I can sell the setting for my engagement ring?  The thing is beautiful but has had to be re-pronged twice in 8 years and d@mn if it doesn't need it again! I've just had it... plus it's too big now anyway so, I'm just going to get a new one.  I figured we could sell the old one to offset the cost of new one a little bit.  It's a solitaire but is a trellis setting (Lucida) so it's pretty heavy.(ETA: just to clarify, I'm keeping my diamond, just want to sell the metal :)

Any suggestions appreciated!

    I know Rogers had a sign when I was in the mall a few weeks ago that they will buy your gold/metal and if you sell it to them they give you an additional discount on a purchase in the store. I realize you may not want to buy your setting from them, but other stores may be doing the same type of thing.
