I have to ask this with an ae because even thoug i really really mean it when i tell you that i'm not prejudice, i know that yous guys wont beleive me. but really i see nothing wrong with people loving who ever they love. i just really have a question.

can you explain why if a woman is attracted to other women why she is attracted to women who look and act like men? and also why do gay men act so femenine? if they are really attracted to men, why dont they act manly? i am attracted to men because of how they act and look and dress not because they act like women like me.

i know this can come off as really rude and i'm sorry. its just something ive been wandering. and i know there are lesbian women who like femenine women to. its just that many of them date women who act like men and i just wondered why that is.

please dont be ofended. i really dont mean to be rude. the reason why i am using an ae is no matter how much i say im not trying to be rude yous wont believe me and i dont want to be run off this sight.

It's all preference... Are you attracted to rugged, masculine men or skinny, pale, geeky men? Does it really matter why some women like masculine women or some men act feminine? Not really.

Why do interracial couples like each other? Why do brown haired women go blonde? Why do straight men act "manly" and straight women act feminine?

It's all preferential.

I will say this, some women feel out of place being feminine and choose to dress in guys clothes, this doesn't always mean that they act like men.

I honestly think you would have received more responses if you did NOT use an alter ego. I for one, give more credibility to posters with a higher post count. I know they've been around the boards, probably understand flaming, and board dynamics. If you had more posts and came here with an honest to goodness question I would have answered. But since you came with an AE it's hard to not assume it's MUD (particularly with the name of your AE).

Yea that?s coz I was bullyed in grade school for not being ladylike coz I played sports and had short hair like a guy. But that was like ten years ago and Im gunna be a mom soon so I have to let it go you know? i didnt know yous dont flame or maybe i would of asked earlier. i never understood it and every body always acused me of it so i just wondered how it worked. but now that im having a baby i guess its obvious.

First of all, Blue's answer had me cracking up too. Perfect!

Second, what Two said is absolutely true. AE plus several acknowledgments that you know your question is offensive does not make for much credibility.

Third, for me it's much more about the particular person. I'm attracted to DW, what else matters? I've been attracted to men and to women and I ended up with the person I was meant to be with. We may never know why some people feel comfortable presenting themselves in stereotypical masculine or feminine ways or why other people are attracted to the ways others present themselves.
