XP: Appointments

I'm reposting this from the October 2011 board. We thought you ladies would have better knowledge! TIA! -

For those of us who are not high risk and are being seen on a monthly basis by our doctors/midwives/etc, when do the extra visits begin? I remember my midwife telling me in the beginning that there comes a point when they will see me at least twice a month, if not more. Does anyone remember when that starts and how often we'll be seen?

I will be seen every 2 weeks starting at 32 weeks and then at 37 weeks I will go once a week.

I started going every 2 weeks after my 28 week appointment. I don't recall from my previous pregnancy when I'll start going every week. Maybe around 35 weeks?

I went monthly until 28 weeks, biweekly starting at 30 weeks and was scheduled to start weekly at 36 weeks (but swelling and BP concerns lead my dr to start weekly at 33 weeks).

I started every 2 weeks at 27 weeks

And will be starting my weekly appointments at 36weeks

I'm starting every two weeks after my next appointment at 28 weeks.

Monthly till 26 weeks (sometimes 30 weeks), then bi-weekly after that till 35/37 weeks.

It really depends on your doctor, and your pregnancy. And it moves a bit.

I went in for my 36 week check up, and if it wasn't for my BP, he didn't want to see me for 2 weeks.

My appointments bumped up to 2x a month at 28wks and was just informed that I start my weekly appts at 35wks.

I went every 4 weeks during the beginning and I went in at 30 weeks, will be going in at 33 weeks, 35 weeks, then I switch doctors and am seen every week after 36.

(I am military, so thats the switch of doctors)

In both of my pregnancies, I started having my appointments every 2 weeks after 28 weeks. At 36 weeks, I'll start going every week until the baby arrives.

I go at 30w and then every 2 weeks until 36w which is when I start going once a week.
