Nursing pads? (reposted from bfing page)

Trying to gear up for BFing round 2. I hate the thought of creating so much trash with disposables...do any of you have good experiences with washables or Lillypadz or any other recs?

With DD I was a prolific leaker, random let-downs all the time and gushed while nursing on the other side. I just want to get something that works and will look decent as I work FT and I plan to go nurse this baby on my lunch breaks while at DC. Thanks!

Artsy Fartsy Foo Foo makes some fab ones called Milk Maids. I got the OBV ones and they're amazing.

Ditto - I love the OBV ones - impressively thin and unnoticeable under shirts and so soft!.  Lilly Padz are great if you're not a heavy leaker, but if you are, the milk tends to pool in them which makes getting them off a bit of a challenge without getting wet.

  • Ok, I am having a hard time navigating the website. What does OBV stand for?

    thanks!

  • Organic Bamboo Velour.  So soft!  I have a mix of the OBV and the hemp, and I'd always save the OBV for my sore side.  Felt so good!  The hemp work really well, too, just not quite as luxuriously soft.
