that's what I am doing now. I posted this on the TTC board but thought you ladies might have some insight as well.

Soo yesterday my OPK said I ovulated! YAY!!! I was on day 18 (which is still a little late but better than the 33 it was at!) so when I retook it this morning it said I was still ovulating. So now we just have to play the waiting game.....

 I do have a question though.... How soon after fertilization can you tell in a blood test? I am asking this because on Thursday I have to go in and get my blood work to make sure that I did indeed ovulate and I was wondering if it would be too soon to confirm whether or not I am with a blood test?

 That would put me doing it on day 4 after ovulation....

    This board is VERY slow, so I am not sure if you will get many responses.  I think it is more like 8dpo, but I am not sure.  I want to wish you luck though! The 2ww can be brutal!

    My dr says a blood test should have enough HCG to be able to be positive by 7dpo or so.

    BFP @ 9dpo 2.1.2012 || HCG = 8 : Progesterone = 19.2
    2nd HCG @ 11dpo = 40 || 3rd HCG @ 21dpo = over 5000!

    wow you are right....this board is SUPER SLOW.....

    So I called my doc yesterday. I was told that he wanted me to wait until 10 days after I got my first smiley face......

    Good luck!  Yes, I have noticed that not many people are posting on here.  I tried posting on a DFW mom blog and it seems that one is also slow.... where are all the DFW momies posting?!
