I saw Bridesmaids

My movie last night was fantastic!  It was one of those AMC theaters that has food and drink service right in the theater.  Why on earth did it take so long to put that idea into action?  It was just what I needed and the movie was HILARIOUS.

    I would definitely recommend it.  It was great to see a movie full of hilarious women.

    I don't know her real name, but I love Clem from Reno 911. I'll see any movie with her in it, LOL!

    Good to hear you had a good time. I have never heard of the theatre setting that you are describing. There is a theatre near us that has a cocktail lounge on a second level above the theatre but nothing like what you described. Sounds fantastic! I also haven't gone to the movies by myself but would love to get into the habit of doing it, just haven't broke out of my shell yet.

    I went with my BFF, but guys would like it too. I seriously haven't laughed that hard in a long time!

    I know my DH will like it and there were guys in the theater.  I really wouldn't consider this a chick flick - really more like a female Hangover.  I think it would be a great date movie.  It wasn't like the usual "oh, guys are stupid" comedy.

    AMC has these Fork and Dine theaters now.  The chairs are big loungers and have trays attached.  There's a call button for service and condiments at each seat.  And they have assigned seating.  I love that because I HATE IT when some idiot sits right next to me in an empty theater.  Forget 3D technology - this concept is what will save movies!

    I never went to the movies alone before I had Daniel, but it's a perfect way to get out alone.  I love the movies and you really can't think while you're there so it's a great way to decompress.  It's really not awkward on a weeknight.  It's nice just to spend a couple of hours without your shirt getting damp from drool!

    DH and I are going to see this on Saturday night.  I've heard really good things about it.  Can't wait!

    And I didn't know that there are AMC's that have food/drink service.
