I've had tailbone pain since the 2nd tri. I have broken it before, so it deviates a bit, and I've always thought that was why it bothered me so much. At a certain point I couldn't sit in an office chair for more than twenty minutes without pain. I had to go to traffic school and sit in horribly uncomfy chairs for 6 hours. It was sooo awful. My hips hurt sometimes, and the top of my femur pops as I walk from time to time. Damn hormones relaxing all my ligaments :P My low back isn't too bad. My mid-back and between my shoulder blades bother me.

Does it hurt more when you walk? I had sacroiliac joint pain in 2nd tri and it hurt like heck to walk. I also got hip pain and lower back pain. It's all connected, so it makes sense. I went to a chiropractor, and after a few weeks, felt brand new. I haven't had pain since about 28 weeks. I still go weekly to prevent any new pains and keep things in my back and pelvis mobile.
My tailbone and hips have been hurting since about 5 months along or so... about 6 weeks ago the doctor checked baby's position and asked if I've been having hip/tail bone pain as baby was head down. He's still head down - apparently that can cause the pain. I'm glad he's head down, but yes, it's painful!
Yes. It hurts and the only time I feel relief is when I'm laying down. PT said it was normal loosening of the joints but I've also had a lot of sciatic nerve problems.
