It is tough, eh? Doesn't help when you know a few people who got BFP their first tries (DH has 2 sister who did, one of them twice even!)
Hang in there!
You say you've been trying for over a year...in that time you've had accurate timing, know when you are Oing, etc?
It's tough, but so totally worth it!
Hang in there, okay?
I've found so much solace on these boards and it makes working towards that elusive BFP a little less lonely!
Are you charting to make sure you've got good timing and that you're ovulating? And I don't mean marking your last period on a calendar and counting forward 14 days.

I'm coming up on my one year mark as well. Charting my basal temp has been hugely helpful; I've found that I hadn't been timing things perfectly every month, so it is increasing my chances of conceiving.
At one year of trying, you can/should start to consider seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist (RE) to test you and your DH for anything that would inhibit conception. (Unless you find by temping that your timing has been totally off--in which case, try with good timing for 6 months first.)

i have been timing my ovulation based on cervical mucus bd as much as often. this month i am doing it differently. my new cycle starts in a few days. i bought opks and a lube called pre seed. i even changed from reg multi to prenatals.
my new gyn wants me to try for 6 more months.
thank u ladies for the support and truck loads of bady dust to all
CM and OPKs don't confirm ovulation, unfortunately. If you really want to have your best shot at conception, you need to know that you're ovulating and when through charting your temps.
Prenatals won't help you get pregnant.
And please, for the love of all that is holy, type like an adult. This isn't text speak. And no throwing baby dust. It makes us sneeze.

This. If I went with CM alone, I would have thought I'd O'd every cycle. But, alas, I have not, since my temps do not remain high (or even go up at all). Temping is a great way to know your body and the only way to confirm O at home. If you temp and have anov cycles, then your OB/GYN will most likely see you way sooner than half a year from now. GL.
i assumed ewcm in the middle of my cycle meant i was ovulating. i only get it around the that time of my cycle. i was fresh of birth control and thought i would of been pregnant by now. i also know prenatals dont get you pregnant but i changed because my gyn thought it was best.

i have no idea why it bothers you with the way i write. i'm sure you understood what u read. please don't insult me i have not said a harsh word to you. i am only here for support and help where i can.
I said it nicely. Write like an adult. This isn't a text message. It's a message board, and if you want us to take the time to answer your questions, please take the time to write us an intelligent-looking post.
You can get fertile CM in your cycle and not ovulate, even mid-cycle when you would think it indicates ovulation. Your OBGYN had you switch to prenatals for the folic acid.

i feel a little attack by you.
Okay, fine. How would you like me to tell you?
I recognize you're new. I was nice about it. There's no reason to feel attacked.
