Cervical mucus not correlating with OPK?

Hi Ladies! This is my first post but I've been lurking for quite a while :). I've been using an ovulation predictor kit which showed an LH surge a week and a half ago. At that time I didn't notice the egg white cervical fluid at all, but now 10 days later I do. Do you think that I could be ovulating now even though the OPK told me I was on May 6th? Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

    It's possible to have gotten a +OPK and not ovulated, and vice versa. It's also possible to get all types of CM in various points of your cycle do to hormone fluctuations. Are you charting your BBT?

    When in doubt, hump it out.

    I wrote this exact post about two weeks ago.  I got a +OPK on April 30th, but didn't ovulate until May 7th.  Watch your CM and keep testing with the OPK.  You can gear up to O get an LH surge and then not ovulate till later.  Stress is a big cause of this.

    these test detects lh serge which to my understanding can happen without u actually ovulating 

    i've read some people get positive opks more than once a month. my advice is to keep checking up to the day before your period.
