I learned something new about ear infections today

DS was up throwing up last night and this morning wakes up telling me his ear hurts. Since we just finished antibiotics Fri for a double ear infection, I called and made an appt with the pedi. He still has an infection in one ear. Pedi says that the infection could have made him dizzy to the point of vomiting, or the vomiting could have brought on the infection when "liquid" went up his nasal passages into his eustachian tube. 
YUCK! Either way he thinks the vomiting is related to the infection and not a stomach virus. I would have never guessed.
