Ugh..back to work

Today is my first day back at work.  I did better today than I have been doing the past 3-4 days!  I teared up as I left the house, but I'm staying busy, so at least the day is going by fast.  I can't wait to get back home.  So far so good, I hope the rest goes by as fast!

    The first week goes by really fast. Before you know it you both will be in a routine and it all gets easier. You'll just appreciate your weekends that much more Big Smile

    I hope you have a good day too! I had to go back at 8 weeks and I'll tell you that for me, the anticipation was MUCH worse than the actual experience. I cried for most of the week prior to going back to work, but haven't cried once since actually starting back. I've found myself able to look at the situation and celebrate how much fuller my life is now that I get to spend time with my daughter when I get home instead of resenting having to go back to work and feeling sad. Fridays have proven to be hard through. By then I've been away from her for 4 days and I'm over it! But on the whole the experience has been much more pleasant than I expected it to be. Hang in there Mama! You're doing great!

    My first day back was pretty easy. I called to check on him once and then it was time to pick him up.

    My first day back was yesterday and I'm the same- just trying to keep busy.  That's why I'm on the bump of course!  Smile

    I go back next week... I'm not looking forward to it either.  Hang in there.. I "hear" that each day gets easier.

    Same thing happened to me...the day before I went back I cried ALL DAY, uncontrollably and just couldn't seem to stop. I teared up a little as I was leaving my house, but I swear once I got to work I was totally fine. I've been back for a week now and I am not sad AT ALL. I love coming home to DS but I also love the break.

    I go back Monday and am not looking forward to it. But as a mom who has already gone through this once, it gets much better!
