Kindercare in Mechanicsburg?

Has anyone ever had their child at the Kindercare in Mechanicsburd, off the Cumberland Parkway exit?  I am about to enroll my 2 kids there, but I just don't have any reviews from parents so far.  If you know anything or have heard anything, please fill me in!!

    Charlene is the director there.  I know her professionally.  She seems to run a tight ship.  Also, our current babysitter used to work under her when she was at the Trindle Rd. Kindercare but found her to be a really tough boss (which partly is to why she now provides care out of her home rather than work at a center anymore).  That is the only insider info. I have.  Hope it helped.  If our circumstances were different, then I would possibly consider taking DD there.  I like the programs that Kindercare provides in general and would probably choose there rather than the Trindle Rd. location.  We have looked into Caterpillar Crossing that is close to there as a possibility too!

    Thanks so much for the info....you're the second person that has mentioned Caterpillar Crossing, and I drove past it the other day.  It looks so small, and I did hear it's not licensed.  Not sure if that is true or not.  But maybe I should check it out a bit more.  I am OK with the director running a tight ship, because that makes me feel like the school would be better because of it.  Unless of course the teachers leave like your sitter did!  Also I did see the Trindle road one, and we definitely won't be going there!

    I know this isnt exactly what youre asking, but we take DD to Childrens Family Center, which is currently on the Messiah Village campus but will be moving to the Rossmoyne Business Complex in June. I dont know if thats at all convenient for you but we have had great experiences with them. And, to answer your actual question, I dont know anything about that kindercare but it was considerably more expensive than CFC when we were looking and I had personal recommendations for CFC which is why we went with them. Their prices are going up slightly with the new facility though so Im not sure how the prices compare now.

    WOW thank you for the info.  Our church is affiliated with Messiah Villiage and I work by Rossmoyne Business Complex (just on the other side of the highway).  It's nice to know of a place that is so close as I drive by it everyday on my to the office.  Nice to know in case we decid to ever change our current provider!  Thanks again for the info!

    we go to the goddard school in the rossmoyne business complex and are happy with it. I like that its a structure "school" atmosphere. Its pricey... but when we last looked 2 yrs ago at Kindercare, KC was more. But we just saw the Trindle road location and ran FAR away. They even had teachers sleeping in the teacher room area. I mean, i get its yoru break but i could see at least 3 of the with their heads on the tables napping when our tour went through that area.  I cant imagine they could be very attentive to kids in the morning if they were so tired. I didnt check the other location bc we were happy with Goddard after that visit so i cant compare to that one.
