pleaseeee sleep

I'm having such a hard time with DS sleeping. He only wants to sleep on me! He will be zonked out and as soon as I put him down he will wake up. I'm trying to transition him into his crib since he is STTN now! But it's kind of difficult when he does not want to sleep anywhere but on me. At night he will sleep in his bassinet. Sometimes it's a bit of a struggle to get him to go to sleep. But once he falls asleep he is out for the night. Ugh. I hope he ends this soon. I can't hold him FOREVER!

    I agree! DS has only had one nap today and it's because I finally quit trying to put him down. I really wish he would sleep alone too!

    Do you let him cry at all?  I have to let DS complain for a little bit after I put him down in his crib....he is tired and fights the nap every day, but he needs to nap to be a happy baby.  It's usually only 3 minutes of half-hearted whining and then he passes out.

    Oh yea. He doesn't tire himself out. He's doing it right now actually. I've tried bouncing him, patting him on his butt, giving him his pacifier. Nothing.is.working. I don't know what to do. I feel like a crappy mom to be honest Tongue Tied

    DD's done that for a couple days now.  I pretend to change her diaper and it soothes her instantly because diaper time is play time for her.  That or I whip out the Moby.

     Aww, you are a great mom!  We have days like that when sometimes nothing works. Recently he started freaking out every time I set him in the crib and swaddled him, so now I trick him by setting the swaddle on the changing table - he seems to be doing better with that because he loves the changing table too.  I'm sure next week it will be something else! 

    Although I try not to use props to get DS to fall asleep, I rely on the carrier on the tough stubborn days.  DH uses the Bjorn and I use the moby.
