I just peed, I went upstairs, changed my clothes and came back down and sat on the couch. Almost immediately the pee/water breaking incident happened. Pants are wet, but I'm not leaking any more that I can tell.

I'm currently laying on the couch, with a pad on... going to see if I leak anymore. I really don't want to go to L&D b/c I peed myself.

...so there's some excitement for today.

I have the "after-pee" leakage you're seeing... At first I thought my water had broken, too. I was so disappointed when nothing kept leaking out.

I can't answer this question.. We need to know about the smell... and color

Ditto to this. Our childbirth class taught us TACO. Time , Amount, Color and Odor. When my water broke it was a continuous leak to the point where I couldn't even stand up from the toilet without more coming out. I had been to L&D 4 days prior thinking it was my water, but alas, it was pee (even though it was color and odorless). I had no idea what to expect (first child), so I figured it was better to go and check it out, just in case, since they have to deliver the baby within 24 hours after the rupture.

Now I say get you to L&D- slightly green or brown can mean meconium, not something you want to mess around with.

I had my daughter 5/6. I was laying on the my recliner and got up to go pee. On the way there I thought I peed myself. I went back to recliner ( totally embarrassed after changing) for 2 more hours and when I got up again the same thing happened. I then realized it was not pee when I saw the amount and color. It was yellowish green. I went to hospital and it was meconium in my water. I would definitely head to L&D. I totally understand how u don't want to be embarrassed for going because of peeing yourself though... I did do that they day before my water broke!

I saw go to L & D. WIth the green that would mean that it was the water breaking and meconium is present. You need to deliver in the next 24 hours. I had this and everything was fine. THey just need to know.
