Did your LO go through any spells of better or worse? Over the past two weeks I feel like it's getting worse and worse. The pedi had me cut out dairy and rather than replace it with soy (which I did for over 5 years) I replaced it with rice to prevent any issues but I still feel like he's just getting worse and worse. Today was the first time he spit up yellow which absolutely freaked DH and me out. Since he's spitting up more and obviously more uncomfortable, he isn't sleeping as much making him a super cranky baby. Our pedi won't put infants on medication if they're gaining weight appropriately and DS is gaining perfectly so I'm at a loss. Is this just a phase he's going through or is it going to continue to get worse?
Re: Reflux Mommas
That's what I'm starting to lean towards. DH and I were just talking about it over dinner. The practice we're with was the only one we found during our search that supported me breastfeeding so I'm a bit afraid of leaving though I now have the full backing of my neurologist so maybe a different pediatrician would now support it... mmm.
It's definately something to seriously think about. He's so unhappy. I just want a happy, healthy baby.
When the pedi started DS on Zantac, I thought I had a brand new baby. Recently he has been spitting up more and more and acting like he has a bad taste in his mouth. I'm calling the pedi to talk to them, maybe since he is growing, they need to up his dosage. My pedi says by 6-9 months they usually outgrow it. Good Luck!

WHAT?!? That is crazy, LO is eating but it still hurts! I would find a new pedi.
E was the same way. We started Zantac and E was like a new baby. (we also changed formulas) We still have some bad days when he's still in pain and can't sleep, but they are becoming fewer and fewer.
Good Luck
