- We finally set up and decorated the nursery for baby. I walked into the room today, sat down on the glider, felt him kick and just couldn't wipe the smile off my face. His room was so calm and I was just rocking away on the glider feeling him kick and felt this huge out pour of love for him and DH and DS and just felt so lucky and safe.-While putting DS down for a nap, he insisted on sleeping in his big boy bed instead of his crib. He was so excited and giggly and was so happy to snuggle with me and I was just so happy watching his beautiful little face drift off to sleep.
Getting woken up by DH, instead of my alarm clock this morning.
And DH talking to LO. I mentioned how he kept me up all night, then hadn't moved much since, so DH put his face right up to my belly, and said "Did you tucker yourself out, little man?" It was so cute, and it cracked me right up.
While leaving work this morning (exhausted of course) a patient's mother came running after me (not hard since I'm majorly waddling after a 12.5 hour shift!) to thank me for caring for her extremely sick son (I'm an RN). It was nice to know that I made a difference for someone, and at the same time be reminded that I am so lucky to have two healthy children. Life is good.
- I woke up to the sunlight today; the weather is just wonderful today; blue skies, cool breeze and plenty of sun. My kind of weather.
- had an internal done today. I'm 1cm dilated and 80% effaced! It's 'good progress' says the OB. I was having contractions last night that were intense enough they would wake me up. I'm sitting on my yoga ball in the meantime
- I was all smiles with my mocha frappe until of course I could feel too much caffeine surging through me that sometimes makes me agitated. But it was still oh so good!

Finding out that I get to see my baby girl on u/s one more time before she arrives! I'm measuring a little big, so I have a growth u/s next Tuesday to check on her size.
I am sitting at the edge of my sofa most of the day and kept noticing this odd smell. I was thinking wow is that me do I smell sour like that? Turns out nope it is not DH left a bowl of cereal on side table and doggie knocked it over. Here I was thinking I was going to have to call the doctor. LOL
After taking DH to the store to purchase the glider that I finally had decided on, he said it wouldn't fit in our car...so 2 weeks later and no sign of him trying to buy it or pick it up, I bought it today (smile #1) AND it fit in the car (smile #2) with plenty of space left. I bought it home, in the house, and assembled it and am smiling as I sit in it typing this!
And the day the weather is rainy and cloudy, my lower back is finally feeling a little relief, so I think that made me even more motivated to finally be able to walk, get dressed, and leave the house-smiles!
DH came home on time today. Mom e-mailed me to see if I wanted to enroll unborn LO in a basketball camp because it's 2 weeks after he's due and he will "definitely be walking by then." hahahaha
I had some time to reflect on my drive home from the mall today and smiled thinking about how awesome and supportive my DH was at the Dr appt/stitch removal yesterday. He totally stepped it up and I had no idea he could be so comforting. I think I need to have more faith in him when it comes to labor
I was walking home in the rain from a Dr appt feeling very sorry for myself being so big and preggo and having a hard time walking when I ran into a buddy of MH who has been out of town for months. Just found out he's back and he said he'll give us a call next week. Super excited our friend is around again
my crazy kiddo doing this half run/half dance thing, flailing his legs about and watching his feet and laughing at himself the whole time. it was hilarious. he did it for 20 mins straight and i actually captured it on video.
1-hubby may be getting 5 straight weeks of paternity leave
2-my moby wrap and some hair accessories that I ordered arrived today in the mail.
3- the receptionist called to confirm my OB visit on Thursday but first she asked "did you have your baby yet?" and it just made it feel so real that it could happen any day now

I posted yesterday that I had to suddenly babysit for the 2yr old and 6mo old daughters of a new friend who had to go for emergency surgery today. I was a little worried being as I have no experience being left alone with kids this age. Well, I did ok- no one got hurt or starved to death on my watch. It helped boost my confidence a bit- although I'll admit that I had to google "how often to feed a 6 month old"!

Finally had a burst of energy day where I got all my errands done and while I was making freezer meals this evening my LO and I had a little dance off to a bunch of happy music :-)

Thought of another one

1. DH rubbed my belly this morning saying how he's not sure how long much longer he'll be able to do it
2. An old grandpa running over to me to open the door for me at the mall
I like this post!!

My husband was able to get leave to come to my appt with me today :-) that's exciting anytime it happens.
