Anyone been to View?

Has anyone tried View Restaurant? It's owned by the same people as Bella Luna, so I'd imagine it would be great. Let me know what you thought of it. Thanks!

I thought you were going to say you're going to see The View, the TV show. I was all excited because I was hoping you could smack the crap out of Elisabeth Hasselbeck for me. She annoys the heck out of me.

We actually went the weekend before DD was born. It was the meal that made me finally come around to the idea of being induced (nothing wrong with meal, my liver just couldn't keep up with it). The food was delicious and the service was awesome, just like at Bella Luna. It was restaurant week though and I had that menu. The stuff on the regular menu didn't look as good. I think I heard that they have since changed the menu. So, I guess my point is, if their menu looks good to you, you'll definitely enjoy it.

My love for Bella Luna is the reason we tried the View. It's nice, but the outdoor patio and people are the best parts. The food is completely different from Bella Luna, except they have the bread pudding. Yum! I'd recommend going on a nice evening so you can sit on the patio.

My (surprise) 30th birthday dinner was held there. My friend chose the place because it was owned by the same people as Bella Luna, but their private room was already booked. We were completely underwhelmed by the food, which is a shame because it was EXPENSIVE IMO. My friend and I actually got our meals comp'ed because the chicken in our meals wasn't cooked thoroughly. I mean, it was still pink. Because we were in the private room, we did not to get to partake in the view for which the place is named, but I'm sure it's awesome. They have a bar menu which sounds pretty good, but they will only let you order from it if you are physically sitting in the bar. I may go back and try that, but otherwise I'll never eat there again. I will say considering how expensive the food was, the drink prices were very reasonable. I got a HUGE amaretto sour for like $5 and it was yummy.

Oh and our server wasn't very good (he was a young kid who was just sort of careless), but the manager there was fantastic.
