Marathon naps

He is just now rousing from a 2+ hour morning nap. Do you think LOs can over sleep? I'm wondering if he would do this every day if I didn't bug him to run errands with me. Anyone else's LOs take marathon naps? How long should they be napping at this age? I wish I had known in advance so I could have gotten more done!

Re: Marathon naps

  • My LO naps anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours.

This! And when I take her out shopping, she usually sleeps the entire time. (She's actually been sleeping for almost 3 hours as we speak)

  • DS has been asleep since noon and not stirring yet.  However, he just got his 2 month shots yesterday so I think he's just extra sleepy from those.  I feel like I've gotten so much done today!

    This!

My LO has taken a 4 hour nap a few times, if he's in his carseat going on errands.
