CRAP - big cysts on left ovary

I just got home from my CD3 checkup and I have 2 big ol' cysts on my left ovary. ?So now, the infertile is back on BCP and waiting to see what happens once AF comes back. ?I'm so discouraged.

Secondly, we have to decide what to do next. ?I'm torn between doing an injectibles only cycle and moving straight to IVF. ?If we do IVF and want to do it this cycle, we have to let them know before the 17th so they can check on the cysts and see if we even could move forward. ?But I have no clue what to do. ?DH and I are going to talk about it extensively, but from what we've already said today, we're both just lost and not sure exactly what we should do next.

Any thoughts??

  • Personally, I would move to IVF. See siggy pic...results from our second IVF cycle!

Good luck to you! If you have any questions about IVF, feel free to drop me an email! ginkasgirl@gmail.com

  • Thanks Mrs.Ginka! ?I may hit you up in the next couple of days with loads of questions if you don't mind! ?DH and I are going to dinner tonight and I have a feeling that our decision will be the main topic of conversation. ?
  • I'm not familiar with your story, but I see in your siggy that you've done several hybrid protocol IUI's. I did 3 myself before moving onto IVF. In hindsight I wish I would have tried at least one cycle of only injectables with IUI. It is more aggressive then the hybrid protocol and less invasive then IVF. If my next IVF fails, I actually may try an only injectable IUI, just to see...

    Much luck to you!

  • I don't have any advice for you since we went straight to IVF, but I just wanted to say I'm sorry and I understand your frustration.  My first IVF cycle was cancelled due to a cyst and it was incredibly frustrating.  Good luck with your decision!
