Multiples

If you are currently pregnant

Are you like me and totally over the month board?  I'm soooo bored with the Oct 2011 board.  Not sure why, it's just not doing a thing for me.  It's all announcements about baby's sex and little spats when people don't get along or use the correct terminology.  It's so much happier here LOL

Ok...I'm seriously logging off until after lunch.  I need to get work done!

  • I never got around to posting on the Oct 11 board... I tried to get into it by lurking, but it seemed a little to.. something.. I dont know,  it just didnt mesh well with me I suppose.

  • Im on the october board as well! I am the same way. I think I am staying off until the anatomy scans get done. Its just overwhelming and I know everyone is just so excited to share. I am also really tired of people making nasty comments when people do not spell something right. I guess I just dont take things that seriously (plus I cant even use the spell check on here). I love the multiples board so much more:)

  • I actually still like my month board.  Since I've been on there since the beginning, I feel kind of a bond with the other girls. I don't read every post, but some are pretty hilarious.  Plus, I'm thinking that our sex announcements are finally getting wrapped up!  You could come to September?Wink

I'm on the Jan 2012 board, and it is pretty much all BFP announcements and beta results.  I still read it, but am ready for things to move on.

This board is so different compared to the others, the women here are much more helpful and I love hearing everyone elses experiences with multiples!!!

  • I am in a weird place because I am due at the beginning of August but will (hopefully!) have them in July so I never connected to a month board. That being said, like a PP I check both months once in awhile, the tri boards and PGAL but mainly look at this board. I already have a 2 year old so really don't need to discuss/any information on when I will show, whether or not a 15 week 3D scan will show the sex, when the babies will kick or mucus plugs...I need advice on what a twin pregnancy is like and the complications that I am unfortunately facing. The ladies here are an incredible resource and thankfully drama free Big Smile

You know, I think you hit the nail on the head.  So many over there are experiencing life as a pregnant woman for the first time.  I'm not.  I've experienced both a textbook perfect pregnancy and a miscarriage.  I know how both of those worked, but this twin thing is new to me!  I love the gals here and the advice, and I think in general just a smaller more tight-knit group is what I'm after.  I do like several of the gals on the October board and I post on HDBD and lurk, but haven't been nearly as interested lately.

I am on Dec 2011 and don't feel like I have much to say to them and the fact there is now way I will make it close to my due date.

I wanted to say we did almost the same protocol but we did TI instead of IUI.

All of this. Also- I can never keep up with that board either.  I am mainly on here and PAIF.

I'm not really that into my month board or the trimester boards.  It's literally the same thing over and over and over again.  And the hyper paranoia is a bit much for me.

  • There are things that bug me about my month board. When I was pregnant I got annoyed with all of the complaining.  How miserable they were with just one baby, and how huge they were when compared to me they were like rail thin.  Then after I had my girls early, they were all talking about early inductions and wanting to have their babies when they were like 35 weeks, that bugged me!   And now how hard of a time they are having.  I know that if I had just one, I could probably complain right along with them, but having to go through it with two for my 1st pregnancy makes me thing that having just one would be so super easy!!!  I love my March girls though...

This is my first time experiencing pregnancy but I find the month boards to be too much of the same and the tri boards have too much drama.  I now mostly post on this board and PAIF.  I love them both! :)

Agree with pp...sometimes glance at October board but find the advice here is more helpful and what I need. Plus it's great having MoM's that are in all stages with their LO's. :)

  • As yet another MoM on the October 2011 board, I completely agree.  People tend to be too catty, and I'm looking for support.  I lurk on the board, but tend to post more of my questions here.

I hang out a bit on the July board - it's mostly a nice group, and now that we're past the sex announcements it's more interesting.  I definitely prefer this board, though!

I was formerly a July 11 mom-to-be until my loss around 10w.  I did seem to click with that core group of ladies more so than the Oct group for some reason.  I lurk on there on occasion LOL
