Bad cold = I'm miserable

My eyes are constantly watering, so much that at times I can barely see out of the right one. My nose is literally dripping. I woke up with a sinus headache and toothache (it's happened before, but not often, that when my sinuses are really bad I feel it in my teeth). My midwife said I could take Tylenol cold, but that hasn't touched it. A hot shower didn't even help. Ugh. I'm being a crappy mom to my two kids. And trying to decide what to do about work tomorrow. I only work one day a week and next week is supposed to be my last week, so if I don't go tomorrow then I only have one more treatment session left with my clients. I wish I knew if I'd feel any better tomorrow! If I knew it would be like today, I'd cancel for sure.

Thanks for letting me vent.

    Can you go to a doctor? The toothache makes me think that you have a sinus infection and some anitbiotics could make you feel better in a couple of days. I had a terrible one about a month ago and I tried everything, but nothing really helped until I got the meds.  Have you tried the neti pot?

    Oh no! Seriously, is there anything worse than when your sinuses start making your teeth hurt? I might try for the antibiotics, too...this is no time to be sick!

    so sorry you feel so miserable!  and kids on top of sickness do NOT help anything.  hang in there -- i hope it runs its course really quickly!

    also - vicks vapo-rub.  I had never tried it before and one night I used that, a humidifier, propped pillows and tylenol cold and between all of them, SOMETHING worked.  I hope you feel better soon!! It really is the worst.

    I have a horrible head cold too. Stuffy nose, Runny nose, congested the whole bit. Last night I used a vick vapo rub humidfier and rubbed some vicks on my chest and today it seems as though things are better. I hope you feel better soon!!
