How is your c-section healing?

I'm about 5 weeks pp and the past few days I've been feeling a lot worse.  The bleeding stopped over a week ago and today I had a small amount of bright red again.  I just don't feel right but I called the OB and he said that everything sounds normal, just that I might be overexerting myself.  I feel like I've been taking it really easy.  Ugh, I just can't wait to feel normal again!  Anybody else getting that stretching burning thing inside on one side?  Or recurring bleeding?

I got the stretching feeling last night on my left side. Hurt like hell! I figure though it's just my ute going back to normal, as it's still not back in your pelvis till about 6 weeks.

I'm 5 weeks pp, too, and feel the same way. One side of my incision looks totally healed, the other refuses to close and is sore. I know it's not I fected or anything, but it sure isn't getting better very quick. My belly is super sore, I think from everything going back to normal (also verrrry slowly- I still look 3 mo pregnant). I've been spotting on and off since 3 wks.

Even as recently as last week, six weeks postpartum, I was still in pain from my C-section.  This week I have noticed a significant improvement.  I talked to my OB, and he said everything looks good; I am just a slow healer.  I'm on blood thinners, so that could also be contributing to slow healing.

My incision still feels weird to the touch and is totally numb in the entire area.  I hate it.  But it might be numb for awhile, so I'm trying to get used to it.

My incision is completely healed, but I am having a stretchy, painful feeling on the right side of my abdomen. At first I thought it may have been ovulation pain, but I think it might be too soon for that. I just stopped pp bleeding about 4 days ago. It also kind of felt like round ligament pain. I also just figured it was caused by everything trying to get back to normal in there.

I'm 6 weeks today. My doctor said I'm a fast healer, but I get little twinges once in a while--mostly if I bend to pick something up. I had no bleeding after I was discharged at four days other than spotting on a day I overdid it.

I really felt limited in what I could do for the first 6 weeks and my incision often hurt. But after that, I started to feel much better very quickly. My bleeding stopped at 6 weeks too. Hang in there!

My incision is healing great but I still get a sharp sting-like sensation on the left side of it. I also have spots along the incision that are numb.

A few days ago I was in more pain again... and something above my incision was hard and poking out a bit. I went to a walk in clinic because it scared me a bit this far into recovery. The dr said it's my uterus and it's normal. I have had to up my ibuprofen and am taking it really easy again... frustrating as I have been so careful. I had no idea c-section recovery would be so painful!

Bleeding has finally stopped, just a little bit of spotting still...

Yeah, I figured I wasn't the only one.  I never knew that being forced to be lazy would be so frustrating for me.  I'm usually so good at it!

I still have spotting and some pain, especially if LO kicks me. But I also have two uterus incisions, one on the front and one on the back from a fibroid removal at delivery time. OB said spotting is not a problem.
