Vitamin D Supplement Drops

Any recommendations?  The peds mentioned these today at my baby boy's 2 month check up.

Thanks!

  • Tri Vi Sol. It's available anywhere - Target, Costco, etc..

We're finishing our first bottle up now and will be switching to Poly Vi Sol with Iron since we're not starting solids until 6 months and are skipping cereals.

  • We love the Carlson brand vitamin D drops (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/tags-on-product/B003BVIBMO)

You literally only need ONE DROP per day. You can put it right on your nipple or a bottle before a feed. It is so much easier to give than the old TriViSol drops.  One bottle is supposed to last an entire year, my little guy is 8 months and the bottle is nowhere near empty.

  • I use Carlson's.  Those drops are vitamin D only and one bottle lasts an entire year.  I got it at Whole Foods.

  • Carlsons for sure!  I put a drop on my nipple before nursing or in one of his bottles of BM for daycare.  Just one drop per day and thats it.

  • trivisol or D visol

accidentally bought the one that says "with Iron" once and she wouldn't take it, so unless he needs extra iron, don't get that one! :)
